As One by One celebrates 10 years of ministry, we’re reflecting on some of the larger lessons that God has taught us through serving.
One by One is part of my daily life. When I came to work at this ministry, I didn’t know the great joy that I would truly experience. God put in my heart the notion of getting involved in the ministry’s programs to present Christ Jesus in a different way, “so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 3:10). I visited churches, and they learned about how One by One works with kids. Beyond just teaching, we’re happy to see how our kids have grown—how they develop through adolescence with Christian and social values. We’re happy how they have responded to life change, with each Saturday leaving its mark on their lives through a program full of activities where God’s presence is felt through the way that we treat kids lovingly and through the way that they’re eager to participate in activities.
About two weeks ago, five or so kids told me in a small meeting that we have every Tuesday called friendship small group that they had felt the presence of God. Each one told about their experience in a different way. This was so surprising to me! I almost cried at what they told me—how each of them could feel Jesus’s presence; this confirms to me that I am in the right place and the right time for them.
I have to really utilize my time for them since time goes so quickly. Life stages slip by; they’re kids now and suddenly they’re young adults that need a friendly hand that communicates “We’re here for you. We’re the friends that God uses so that you know that he loves you. This organization One by One was created and inspired by God to serve you and to tell you that life has an eternal purpose, and while you’re on the earth, he wants to show it to you.” In this way—and in many others—I want boys and girls to know that God loves them, and we serve him.
God has shown us that he blesses our place by keeping our door open—along with the heart of each person that puts their eyes on this part of the world One by One Nicaragua.

One by one es parte de mi vida diaria, cuando vine a laborar en este ministerio no sabía la gran alegría que realmente experimentaría, Dios puso en mi corazón un sentimiento de involucrarme en lo que el ministerio tenía programado para presentar a cristo Jesús de diferente manera, Efesio 3.10, visite iglesia y ellas aprendieron de cómo trabaja con One by one y niños , en la actualidad además de enseñar , estamos felices de ver como ellos han crecido y se han formado en su adolescencia con valores cristiano y sociales, estamos felices como ellos han respondido a un cambio de vida dejándose marcar su vida cada sábado atreves del programa lleno de actividades donde Dios se deja sentir en la manera que tratamos con amor a los niños y la manera en que ellos quieren ser tomados en cuenta para participar en las actividades.
Hace como quince días alrededor de 5 niños me comentaba en una pequeña reunión que tenemos todos los martes denominada Grupos pequeños de amistad (Ulises, Cristofué, Caleb, Junior y Jaime) que habían sentido la presencia de Dios, cada uno narrado de diferente manera su experiencia eso fue sorprendente para mí casi lloraba por lo que me contaban como cada uno pudo sentir a Jesús; lo que me lleva a la conclusión que estoy en el lugar correcto en el tiempo correcto para ellos.
Debo de aprovechar mi vida para ellos ya que el tiempo pasa rápido las etapas de la vida pasa deprisa y ellos son niños aun y de repente son adultos jóvenes que necesitan du una mano amiga que les diga existimos para vos somos los amigos que Jesús usa parea que sepas que él te ama esta organización One by one fue creada e inspirada por Dios para servirte y decirte que la vida tiene un propósito eterno y mientras este en la tierra él quiere demostrártelo, así y de muchas maneras quiero que ellos(niños y niñas) sepan que Dios le ama y servimos.
Dios nos ha demostrado que bendice nuestro lugar al mantener abierta la puerta y el corazón de cada persona que pone sus ojos en esta parte del mundo one by one Nicaragua.
